The productive individuals

The productive individuals are leaving CTI. Most employees unhappy because of poor self-absorbed managers. CSO and his right hand man blame people who have left for problems - not realizing that they left because of CSO and his yes-man. Things are still bad after many leaving - what does that tell you? TSN (right hand yes-man) does not know novel drug discovery development - is a biosimilars guy. Drives unreasonable short sighted decisions and makes slides that look good - nothing to deliver. Programs are advanced to show progress but without solid data to back. He is moodier than most PMSing women. Both guys are power hungry and think they know everything - don't listen to their people. Model is top-down command and control with a few favorites. Favorites get preferential treatment and access, benefits. Scientists are told to do one thing, but measured on another and not given the right tools. Pfizer HR knows about the high turnover and the last time I heard was concerned. Recruitment and retention is becoming difficult. Simplest solution would be to fire the leadership and get some good people but unlikely since current team is made up of JC's select cronies. JC owes CSO - when TC was in MedImmune, he asked JC to run a company backed by MediVentures and told JC it would be a great short stint - MediVentures was going to sell company in 6-12 months and JC could cash out. Company was sold to Amgen and JC made out like a bandit. Cronyism between the two goes back years - now they are trying to bring in programs into CTI from their friends - programs that many have rejected. But, what's a little friend helping friend anyway - seems to have worked for them at the cost to shareholders.
