Add Bayer and Siemens to your list of the worst.
One has to wonder if it's the companies or the industry. Diagnostics is no longer the growth business it was. New analyzers have very little that's new or beneficial to customers. Whatever 'advances' are coming in instrumentation seem pretty much like the newest version of 'Windows': A few new features, new look and feel to the software, and a few new features that no one really wanted or will ever used. Add to that the paucity of new tests that need to be developed and you wind up with a static business that will drive management crazy leading them to take it out on employees as the only way to squeeze out a profit.
