Look for the normal signs, hr blocking meeting rooms, secret leadership meetings, offsite events, increased recognitions ( base cause your manager feels guilty for not doing it sooner), managers working early/late ( which is not normal in most cases) ... And most of all talk to your ops leaders, they will tell you everything that is going on because they can't handle the layoffs and are only doing it so that they are not laid off .. Most don't support the corporate "projects"
